1.
Change your power settings.
launch
the Control Panel app, then select Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
You’ll typically see two options: “Balanced (recommended)” and “Power
saver." - Choose the Power Saver option

Disable
programs that run on start-up.
Go to the Task Manager application -> Startup Tab – Remove the unwanted programs/apps which
may slow down your computer.

Disable unwanted services.
Go to the services.msc (start->run->services.msc) and
disable the below services.
SysMain
Windows Update
4.
Check your
Hard disk space.
There
should be a minimum of 50 % free space available all the time.
Clear the temp files (go to settings->delete temporary files)
5.
Shutdown
Properly
Need to shut
down the system regular basis.
